HPB October Halloween Mani Link-Up!

*Nothing to Disclose*

Greetings!  I am a member of an amazing group of nail polish bloggers on Facebook called Hobby Polish Bloggers.  It's a place where casual or "as a hobby" nail bloggers could come together with other like-minded bloggers.  HPB is a place to hang out, ask questions, and just have fun! The amount of talent in this group is amazing, and there's bloggers of all sizes in it - from microbloggers to some bigger bloggers that I looked up to as I was getting into nail polish.  This group, and their support, was instrumental in me getting the confidence to start this blog!

The group had been discussing doing monthly collaborations, and what better one to start with than a Halloween nail art?!  I had planned to do a week of nail art for Halloween so this is a great lead-in to it!

I wanted to find Halloween nail art ideas that weren't too difficult because well, my nail art skills are very much in the beginner category! Today, I went with Sugar Skulls.  They are bright and colorful, yet still a lil bit spooky!

I like this look can be created from polish colors that most people already have, and no nail art tools if you didn't have them.  I used a small art brush and dotting tool, but a toothpick and bobby pin would work too! The polishes that I used were: OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Hey Baby, Sally Hansen Green with Envy, Sally Hansen Sun Kissed, Sally Hansen Violet Voltage, and Zoya Raven.

Be sure to check out the other fabulous looks from my fellow Hobby Polish Bloggers below!

So what is going to be on your nails next week?  Be sure to check out my blog each day for ideas!

Until next time,

  5. Sugar skulls are always a great Halloween design because I love that you can do them with a non-orange-and-black color scheme! Great job :-)

    1. That's one reason I wanted to do them. So many people don't have orange nail polish since they don't think they can wear it more than just once a year.
